After dinner, the three of us took a walk on the frozen river, much to Amy's horror. I guess all of our nagging about staying away from the river this summer worked. The moon, however, was full and the temperature wasn't too cold, so trek on forbidden territory was enjoyable.
Once back inside, we all changed into our pj's and enjoyed a hot chocolate that Amy made for us. It was a wonderful way to bring in the new year.
