Presents from Krissy
Amy forgot her suitcase in Toronto when we were there in March and last night, it made it's way back home, full of presents! The air was thick with excitement!
Oooooh! Clothes! I don't have any of those!
"Gasp! OMG! I thought these were only a myth! Uni-Corn holders!"
"Dada! Look! Uni-Corn holders!" My girl does love a good kitchen gadget.
"I love you too Big Stister."
Amy got very excited about a wrapped present . . . until she discovered it was for Daddy. She then rushed off to hide it. She did such a good job, that we (including she) can't find it! I'm sure Daddy will get his birthday present some day.
The new outfit fits perfectly, as shown by our very own Vogue model.
On the evening of July 1st, 2006, Robin and I were reclining at the beach on Pelee Island in Lake Erie awaiting the Canada Day fireworks display. All of a sudden, he said, "How would you like to adopt a little girl from China named Amy?" At that exact moment, the fireworks erupted, starting a spectacular show that seemed to continue forever. I wasn't 100% sure that I had heard him correctly, but my immediate thought was, "How does he know a little girl in China named Amy?"
The fireworks continued . . . and continued . . . and continued.
After what seemed like an eternity, the fireworks on the beach stopped, and I asked what he meant. It was at this point that the fireworks in my heart began!
