December 15th - Grandma Marilyn

My Mom passed away in February, 2005, a year and a half before we decided to add to our family. I miss her every day, but more so with the addition of Amy. Her best friend since elementary school, Good Ol' Aunty Marilyn, has done a wonderful job of providing much needed Grandmothery love and affection for Amy and has done her best to fill the void left by my Mom for me.
Aunty Marilyn came over to give Amy a Christmas present, given she will be out of town for Christmas. Amy, being the loving child that she is was quick to give Grandma a kiss.

She loved the bear that reads the entire story The Night Before Christmas and especially her card that plays her favourite Christmas Carol, Jingle Bells, over and over again, each time it is opened. As Robin said, "What did we ever do to her?"!
