Rabbit Update

Amy has been checking the carrots religiously for the past few days. At first, just to appease her, we told her that rabbits slept a lot. Then I suggested the carrots looked like they had been nibbled on . . . slightly. This morning, she was very insistant that the rabbit had been eating the carrots. Sure enough, this is what it looked like. One was missing, the other was moved, and there were definately carrot crumbs in the snow.When she got home from school today, she made a beeline for the window and began to squeal with delight. Sure enough, there was Thumper (Amy has since named him), chomping away! After grabbing the phone to call Daddy at work, she stood there, banging periodically on the window, asking Thumper if he would like another. He continued to eat, seemingly oblivious to the joy he was giving a little girl.
